Governor Blanco, MR.BILL and Estuarian Capt. Eddy the Eagle Launch "Save America's WETLAND" Bracelets in Washington, DC
Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco helps MR. BILL of Saturday Night Live fame and America's WETLAND action hero Captain Eddy the Eagle launch the new "Save America's WETLAND" bracelets at the Washington, DC, annual Mardi Gras opening night event "Louisiana Alive." The bracelets, white wrist bands embossed with the slogan "Save America's WETLAND, " will be widely disseminated to raise awareness about Louisiana's coastal land loss and the serious impact such loss will have on the state and nation.
