Leadership Initiatives

The Foundation believes there is unprecedented urgency and scale of restoration and protection needed along this coastal region and, without taking immediate action, environmental, economic and energy sustainability are at risk for the entire nation.

To address the urgency and actions required to achieve regional sustainability through policies, practices, and technology that will address community resiliency, ecosystem restoration, commerce and infrastructure, climate stewardship, and domestic energy security and development - we aggressively seek the attention the consideration, and commitment of Congress and the Administration to restore, rehabilitate, protect and sustain this region.

Education Initiatives

America's WETLAND education initiatives feature resources for educators, home schoolers, parents and children of all ages.  You can download a variety of lesson plans, order an Estuarian Activity Guide, request the ESTYS visit, sign up with our America's WETLAND Conservation Corps, and visit our Resource Center.

The Foundation believes in the importance of educating current and future generations-from the youngest to the oldest-who can act as stewards of the environment and play a key role in the sustainability of our nation's Gulf Coast communities. Please explore our various resources to learn more about the crisis facing Louisiana's coast and how you can do your part to help protect and sustain America's WETLAND.

Grantees

The Foundation is committed to the sustainability of the Gulf Coast region. The Foundation supports a variety organizations including foundations, state agencies and educational institutions are aligned with our mission to raise awareness of the importance of America's WETLAND. However, the Foundation does not accept unsolicited requests for funding.
