Please join Host Dale Hall, CEO, Ducks Unlimited for The Big River Thrives, the second of five leadership forums being convened by the America's WETLAND Foundation as part of THE BIG RIVER WORKS, a national initiative to build cooperation for a healthy, sustainable Mississippi River system. The Big River Thrives brings together leaders and experts from diverse Mississippi River interests to identify critical habitat and ecosystems issues to be discussed within the context of comprehensive river management. Topics to be addressed will include: - The diverse ecosystems & habitats supported by the Mississippi watershed - A hemispheric approach to flyways and vital bird habitats - Wetlands, the delta and sustaining lower Mississippi basin ecosystem for marine species and migratory birds - A vision for a connected system of riparian ecosystems and habitats THE BIG RIVER WORKS is guided by a steering committee with global experience and expertise and convened in cooperation with a host of prominent organizations that represent the depth and breadth of the Big River’s national impact and international significance.
